Here are the details for our Maryland meet.
Please try to come to practice this week! We will be doing full routines at each practice!
On Monday, we will do a quick clinic on meet basics at the beginning of practice. On Wednesday, we will start with a mini “mock meet” at 7:30, so please come on time! It should only take about 1 hour, then you will have open practice time.
Here is the schedule for next Saturday:
9:30 – 10:30 AM: Brunch at Lily’s House
We’re going to kick off the the day with a brunch at Lily’s house. PCG will supply bagels, pancakes, orange juice, etc. to get us all fed and ready to go! Regardless of whether you are eating, please be there by 10:15 AM to get in the cars and go!
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Drive from Philly to College Park
We will leave Philly promptly at 10:30 AM. All cars will leave from Lily’s house. The drive should take between two and three hours.
If you have a car that you are willing to drive down (PCG covers gas, tolls, etc.) please email me ASAP. If not, we will rent cars.
2:00 – 2:30 PM: Open Stretch
We will have thirty minutes of open stretch the Maryland gym to get warmed up and ready to go.
2:30 – 5:00 PM: Competition
Competition will be warm up-compete structure in Olympic order. The times on this part aren’t set in stone; it may take more or less time.
5:00 – 5:30 PM: Awards
All we do is win win win.
5:45 – 6:45 PM: Dinner in the College Park Area
We’ll have a quick celebratory dinner near UMD. PCG will not cover this meal!
6:45 – 9:30 PM: Drive back to Penn
I can’t tell you exactly what time we will be back, but I’m guessing it will be before 10:00 PM. No promises!
What to bring to UMD:
- Competition leo/uniform
- Official PCG Shirt (We flip more than red cups)
- Grips and wristguards
- Snacks and water
- Cash for dinner
