I hope everyone is getting excited for our Virginia Tech Meet! It is the first of our competitions for the 2012-2013 season!
Departure Time:
Due to Friday afternoon traffic, we want to leave campus as early as possible. The current plan is to leave at 1:00 PM. Please email Lily (gomperts@sas.upenn.edu) if this isn’t possible for you.
Drive Down:
This is going to take around seven hours. We are going to drive west to Harrisburg then straight south to avoid traffic. Each car needs to have at least two drivers on the way down, but the cars don’t have to be (and shouldn’t be!) the same as the cars for the drive back to Philly.
Hotel:
We will be staying at the Days Inn in Blacksburg, VA. It’s #classy. The address is: 3503 Holiday Lane, Blacksburg, VA 24060 US. It is about 2 miles from Virginia Tech.
Also, I am not sure about this, but maybe there is an outdoor pool. See! Discuss. Pack accordingly.
Competition:
We don’t have a ton of information right now, but we will be competing in the morning on November 3.
